Thread: email only goes to smartphone now...most of the time

I had my email forwarded through gmail, and I loved it. I then set my name@website.com set up to go straight to my smartphone. Now I only get those emails forwarded to my gmail if I'm on my gmail account and send a "test" email to name@website.com. Then I see it on gmail. Otherwise I have to check my phone for all those emails. Let me tell you, I hate typing a long email on my phone!!!
Have I clicked (or not clicked) a box that is making this happen? I haven't touched gmail, just the smartphone setup!

Ideas???

ps the smartphone is an i phone

I would personally have your email forwarded to your GMail as you had and then find an app that would push your Gmail to your I Phone.

If you want to send an email with @yourdomain.com, just set up an alias within your Gmail account.
