Thread: Not sending email (outlook express)

Hi,

I have a few questions so please bare with me!!!




1.) am having problems sending email out from my outlook express ,(But i can receive emails threw it...

it says this when i try to send from my outlook express :

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Buy from us', Server: 'mail.my website here.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E



2. which is the best to send out going email (smtp) Example : (mail.my website here.com ) or my isp (smtp.myisp.com) ???



3.) and can someone please tell me , when i have my outlook express connected to the email account that i made in my c-panel ,.......and when i receive a email from one of my website visiters ,do that message get sent to one or both places (Out look express)......and/or.......( Squirrel mail) ...................Because i would like it to be sent to both?


4.) and can someone tell me how do i make my outlook express notify me that i got mail ,that i received mail ,so that i dont have to keep checking it every few minutes,to see if i have any new mail???

In oL
Go to tools and click on options

Make sure you check the box that says play sound when new message arrive.
