Yes i put this code:

<?php
session_start();
$error = $_SESSION[‘error’];
?>

In the Start of Page section of the errorpage html.

Do you think an error is happening on the Free Report page when the visitor submits their details or that something is wrong with the link to the thank you page, or even that some thing is wrong with the thank you page?

In case you need to see pages:
Free Report page: http://www.swiftsaleproperty.com/freereport.php
should link to Free Report Thankyou page: http://www.swiftsaleproperty.com/frthankyou.php
where you can download a PDF, which works ok.

One thing - i have not created a new errorpage for the Free Report form, i have used the one i already had for the contact form i have on the right hand side of every page - is that the problem? I was guessing that because the action of the Back button on the errorpage always sends a user back to the page they just came from, it would be ok to use the same one for both forms? It's here: http://www.swiftsaleproperty.com/errorpage.php

Talking about this form, the "action" is wrong:

action="dbts_abvfp.php"

Instead of the correct action="http://www.swiftsaleproperty.com/ABVFP/dbts_abvfp.php"

Yes, there is no problem using the same errorpage

Hi George,

I am trying to install ABVFP in an addon domain. I am using the same database ABVFP that I already have for HSM and HSA. I don't think I have to create another??? (i didn't for HSA)

So anyway I get this mess.:
Could not connect to the Database Server. Please check user details !

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Saludos
Muriel

In some way you have some mistake in your details.

You don't need to install ABVFP again. Just copy the two files:

dbts_ABVFP_config.php and dbts_abvfp.php FROM the ABVFP folder, INTO the addon domain folder.
Then set the form action to be simply "dbts_abvfp.php"

I still am not getting the info in the email that I set.
I set as required the drop downs and the check box but if I don't choose something the error mess doesn't detect it.

The email issue has something to do with what you have typed or is being blocked by your ISP. Try using an email address whithin your own domain, and check in your Webmail (in CP) to see if mails get there. If they do, it is a ISP filter blocking them.

Checkbox: it can NOT be validated by ABVFP, you see if it is not checked it does NOT exist! meaning that its value is NOT submitted by the form, so there is nothing ABVFP can check.

Dropdowns: you should set the value for the "Please select" option to be a whitespace, otherwise ABVFP sees the text "Please select" as a possible (and therefore acceptable) value.

Hi Naval, and Happy New Year,

I wonder if you could help me with restoring my ABVFP Cp since i suffered a near loss of all data late last year?

I have used ABVFP to process the forms for my site http://www.swiftsaleproperty.com, but would like to use it also for my new add-on domain - http://www.sprintflyer.com.

The main problem at the moment is i don't remember how to get to my Cp, if i knew this i could assess what has happened since my PC crashed and get moving again.

Thanks in advance, Simon
