Thread: form help

I have a form on my site. the site is www.lowcountrydigs.com
when I try out the form (Contact Me) (www.lowcountrydigs.com/form.html), which is suppose to send me an email, I get a message asking me to enter my microsoft passport user name and password.
I don't understand why or what to do the fix it. Can someone help?

for your type of form you really need a php script which will collect the details and then send you the email.

A basic form will do for now.
so I downloaded the freebie, but it does not seem to work. When I "Submit", it appears that the form does not recognize my email or site. Will you take a look at the form again. I am sure I missed something.

Hi David, Hans here ... you seem to know a lot about the super duper Naval form processor. Perhaps you can point me in the right direction ....I have set up a 'contact form' but when I test it I get a 'unauthorised form submission' message. Any clues welcome.

Please post here the URL of your form. If you get a "Illegal submission" message, almost for sure there is some difference between your form URL and the hidden field value in the form, or an error in typing the various URLs. The script performs a check to see if the form URL is a combination of your site domain name and the hidden field in the form, and if it finds any errors, understands that this is NOT a submission from your site but probably a bot using your script. Of course, the script can't be clever enough to see if this is only a typing error.

znmssle: However, i found and tested your form and everything worked ok, so i beleive you have solved it yourself. I even received the autoresponder message.
