Hi, I am very new at forms, but it is my understanding that a "Thank You" page is HTML only. PHP is in submission form. Don't get stressed, someone wiser will be along eventually, it will all be good! |

Casablanca- Ok- lets try to explain this a little. A form needs instruction on how and what to do with the information that is entered into it. That instruction is held in the "action" of the form. In this case, the action is action.php So when the user hits submit, the form is directed to the action.php page which does two things. First- it has a hidden php script in it that takes all the data from the form and processes it and sends it to your e-mail address. Secondly, it thanks the visitor for comming to the site and filling out the form. That is why it is called the thank you page - but in reality it is NAMED action.php. So when we are making a page to say thank you - we name that page action.php and place the php script (that lemmondr has shown) in that page. I know it gets confusing - but that is the simple layout of the way it works. So, go back and make sure you named the page -action.php and it has the php script in it and has a thank you message.
