Thread: Getting error while installing ABVF

Hi,
I have downloaded the ABVF and uploaded the fmp folder to public_html through ftp. As i try to install it on my server through browser by typing www.kashcomp.com/fmp/install.php I am getting the following error

Template Error: set_root: tpl is not a directory.
Halted.

Can some one help me out of this as my domain name is kashcomp.com.

Ok, you have NOT downloaded ABVFP, but FMP. The message you get is quite typical: there are some folders/files missing. Upload again but do NOT use BlueFTP, it misses files / folders some times.

UsernameEmailPasswordConfirm password MySQL hostMySQL loginMySQL passwordMySQL database name

It is for ABVFP, but it is the same for FMP

I am still getting the same error. Folllowing are the required fields during installation along with the submitted values for your understanding
user name: any name
email: my email ID
Password:any password
Confirm Password: confirming the above password
My Sql Host: localhost
My sql Login:qkgjqhj_sbilal (sbilal is the user created during database creation)
My sql password: password created during the creation of sql user
My Sql Database name:qkgjqhj_fmp (database created for forms)
While I fill the above information in the required fileds I get the error "could not select mySql database.
Please help.
