    Default email from form

    My form seems to work, goes to thank you page after submission but I never receive the test email. Any suggestions? Can it be any email or does it have to be email I set up on the BV server?

    Thanks

    Any email should work, are you sure your thank you page has the proper php code on it, and have you checked you spam box on your email, it could be getting put there.

    Here is the code (the part I was to change) I copied and pasted just as the tutorial said:

    <?PHP
    $mailto = "sales@bulktvforbusiness.com";
    $email = $HTTP_POST_VARS['email'];
    if ($email == "") {
    $email = $mailto;
    }
    $mailsubj = "quote request";
    $mailhead = "From: $email\n";
    reset ($HTTP_POST_VARS);
    $mailbody = "Values submitted from web site form :\n";
    while (list ($key, $val) = each ($HTTP_POST_VARS))
    {
    if ($key!="submit")
    {
    $mailbody .= "$key : $val\n";
    }
    }
    mail($mailto, $mailsubj, $mailbody, $mailhead);

    nothing in junk mail.

    Yahoo, comcast and AOL email addresses have problems at times (because the ISP's block the mails). Use an email address within your own domain, or a gmail address, for testing purposes.

    Your script is incomplete (the closing tag is missing. You should be seeing an error message though.

    The tag is there, I just missed it when I copied/pasted into the forum. I am using the email on this server now, still same result.
