Thread: i cant publish i get a general exception error

i have a problem =/ can someone help me solve this problem i also miss typed the (folder) in the publish menu and i dont remember what was

written there everytime i want to publish i get a message
(general exception) and i dont know how to solve this rather annoying error

Hi Faisal,

Publishing problems are usually self inflicted.
Not understanding how to do it is one of the major problem.

Focus and try again;

You publish your index page to: " public_html/ " [your webpage should be named: index] nothing else. The same applies in naming the other pages with other filenames, try to make it as short as possible.

You publish to a folder: " public_html/foldername/ "
