| You need to rename the file (under construction).html to index.html |

| This is the location of your website: http://www.euro-gulfalliance.com/(under%20construction).html In addition to Mattski's advise above, remember to NEVER leave spaces when you name a page. You can use "_" to combine words if you must. The "%20" indicates a blank left in the name. And be sure to PUBLISH your page after every change. But looks like a good start on the site. Should there be some capital letters in the text on that page?

| Hi Faisal, What you did wrong was to publish it as a test page. This the url to your page: "http://www.euro-gulfalliance.com/(under%20construction).html" You should name your page "index" and publish it to " public_htm/ " When you search for Http://www.euro-gulfalliance.com/ your index page will appear as :Http://www.euro-gulfalliance.com/index.html Right now you have to double click in your Index of/ the following link to get to you test page which has the following url: http://www.euro-gulfalliance.com/(under%20construction).html Dont keep on saying I am going mad but instead focus and try to understand how the whole publishing procedure works. | Hi Faisal, On your question how to delete the page? You can enter you cPanel, goto File Manager, select "public_html" Find the file and highlight and a dialogue will appear [top right corner] Delete the file. You can also delete the file using Blue FTP following the same procedure from cPanel as above. Experiment and learn about FTP and cPanel. Do not be afraid. When you make a mistake publishing, just republish over and your previous webpage will be automatically overwritten. |
