Thread: Music Listing

Can someone help me with the following problems: I would like to upload some musics to my site (ex: directory ./musics) and I would like to have a listing (dynamic listing) that will contain the up-to-date of the directory musics as new songs are being uploaded to it. I would like to make those songs available for the user to listen and download if they like. PLEASE show me how to do this; do I have to use a database for this? if I do, then what type of database? is that database available via VH? Please help me by start a conversation on this thread. Please don't list you account ID or password on the site. Those should be kept secure and confidential.

As to the music. Yes, this is very possible. However, to comply with the VH TOS- the music must belong to you. In other words, you have to have produced it yourself and have all legal rights to it in order for it to be put on VH servers. Reason is that VH doesn't want the music industry comming down on them for you giving all the musicians songs away and or selling them.

What you need to do this is a customized script. Both Watdaflip and Navaldesign offer this service at a very affordable rate.
