Thread: ABVFP problem

Hi,
I installed the ABVFP, followed all instructions and memorized settings. Now what's next, how can I use it to make my form and place it in my BV index page?

I believe that ABVFP comes with a complete set of instructions.....have you read them yet ?¿

The form should be built using the BlueVoda form tool. Please look at How to create a form using the Form Wizard and How to create a form from scratch . Then set the action of the form to point to ABVFP as per instructions included in the zip. Please also note that the zip already contains a ready made form that you can use if you like.

Sorry to waste your time. I'm just another green p... How do I set the action to point to ABVFP. Thanks a lot.

Did you read the tutorial included in the zip ? it is all explained there, step by step

I used the ready made form, it's ok, except for the language - when I fill the contact form in my language, everytnig is fine. But when I open to read them, they are coming as strange characters and not in my language. Can you show me how to fix this? Thanks

At the moment ABVFP uses as character set ISO 8859-1.
To receive correctly th email, you need to edit the dbts_abvfp.php file, changing the character set to your, or at least utf 8 unicode.

Open the mentioned file, find the line(s) in the mail headers that set the character set, edit, save, upload again.
