Thread: Need to modify "errorpage" in ABVFP

Hi,
I would like to modify the automatic "errorpage", "thankyou" page and the "successpage" that work in ABVFP to include my menubar etc. My domain name is; www.americaneaglesigning.com. Appreciate your help..

Just open any of those pages and update/add whatever you wish.

I wish it was that simple. I tried to open what I believe are the correct forms but it won't let me.

I guess I was too brief with my last message. Here's the problem: I opened BV to the BV pages folder and found the errorpage.bvp file. I opened it and made the necessary changes. However. when I run the program I still get the 'original" file that was imbeded. What do I do to change this?

According to the instructions, you can make changes to the errorpage.bvp
save and publish
and then view your new page.

What I'm getting is the one that came with ABVFP. You can see this by going to my Contact Form on www.americaneaglesigning.com and clicking on the submit button.

errorpage.php

Yes. When I check with ftp I see the php file there but can't open it look at it to see if it's the new one I created or the one that came with ABVFP. I suspect it's the one that came with ABVFP.

The problem is that you ar epublishing the new thankyou / error pages in your public_html folder, BUT in the ABVFP control panel, you have still left the URL of the standard script, which are in the public_html/ABVFP folder.

Two solutions: you either publish the edited pages in public_html/ABVFP, OR you go in the ABVFP control panel, and edit the URLS of the thank you and error page.
