hi all
i am have problems with my contact us form on my web site. i carnt seem to get it to work!
would someone be so kind and have a look for me. not sure what i have done wrong.

Leave alone the old fashioned "action.php" SCRIPT.

Use the built in Form processor. Open your form page, double click the form, check the "Use built in form processor" checkbox, and provide basic details (email subject, email start, your email address, as well as the thank you page URL - which is the same action.php page- and the Error page URL.

Then open the action page, and REMOVE the script from the page code.

Save, Publish both pages, and REFRESH your browser before testing.

IF you had made your action.php page as you should have, then you have certainly pasted the necessary php code somewhere in that page's HTML.
Remove it.

If you had not done so, this is the reason you didn't get any emails. In that case, leave the action page as it is.

hi all i made a new contact us form the new way. but still not working right.
also my old contact us page had a html on the end, and then went to a php page.

is the new page all php? made with the new form maker.

it may be better for me to go back to the old way of making my contact page, as i would have to change all my pages.
can someone please help me with this

I couldn't find your new contact form, the page only has email details.
Please provide a link.

Yes, the contact form page MUST be php, so you also need to change your menus.

If you want to keep it as html, you will need to use a separate script (not the built in form processor). In that case post here for the necessary script and instructions.

i did take the form off the contact us page as it was in a mess!
