Thread: form not validating info

Hey, I got another problem. On my owner services page, I have it set so that if you do not put your name or email, it will not submit. Unfortunately, it does not do these validations and just submits an email no matter what. I hope you can help me with this. Thanks in advance.

The form is correct and the validation fields are correct, but it is still not working.

My contact page works properly, renters page works, its just the owner services page that is not cooperating and I need to know why. Thanks.

I beg to differ but your fields have not been validated correctly otherwise
I would not have received your thankyou page without filling in my email on your owner services form.

moneytrain your problem lies in the form properties, you have the Form Name as Property Info change this to Property_Info or PropertyInfo. Then save and republish and your problem will be solved. also you have the Encoding type set to application/x-www-form-urlencoded change to multipart/form-data.

It is amazing to me that one little _ would cause that many problems. You gotta love it!!! Thanks for all the help!!!!

Encoding type set to application/x-www-form-urlencoded is Ok for ALL cases exept file uploads (in that case multipart / form data is a MUST)

Also, leaving the encoding type blank is Ok as it defaults to application/x-www-form-urlencoded
