Thread: Success page not working

Please, please, please help me!!

I am having a problem with my success and error page i have created and published them but it is not working HTTP 404 Not found just keeps coming up. My orderform is http://www.wishesanddreams.eu/orderform.php my success page is http://www.wishesanddreams.eu/success.html and my error http://www.wishesanddreams.eu/error.html

I have read many other threads and have tried everything possible please can someone help.

Your form is looking for success.html but you've published it as success.php. Change that extension (right click on the background of the page) and you should be good to go.

hi thanks for the help but i have just renamed all the pages so they are saved as html and it is still not working. What do you mean right click on the background of the page? Thanks again for the help

the .html version doesn't exist on the web.

Open your page in BV ("success.bvp") and right click off to the edge of your screen and choose "Page Properties". You'll find a field that will let you change php to html. Remember, when you publish, don't add any extension--save and publish as "success" only. After you successfully publish the html version, you will need to delete the php version from the server. You do that by going to Tools > FTP Manager, clicking "Connect" so that the right-hand pane shows the files in your public_html folder. Find "success.php" in there, right click to delete. That will leave the "success.html" version on there for your form to find.
