how do you change it back to html? I removed the form off of the page because I am getting spam like crazy.

Even after I deleted the form I still get spam.

doing the captcha is to complicated right now.

    Update:
Found a fix. When you create a page with a contact form it changes it to .php so naturally you have to link to www.yoursite.com/contact.php instead of html.

If you take the form off and republish it , it will stay a php even when you republish. the php stays in the html?

This is how I fixed it. I created a new page copied he text and pictures over (DO NOT CLONE, or you will clone the problem).
Close the old page and then delete it from your folder. I also deleted the page from my ftp manager (under tools). I then republished the new page, changed all of the links going to it and BINGO it is back to html and no more php.
