Thread: Strange code appearing at top of page with contact form

I created a contact form using the form wizard. All was fine for the past month - until today. The page displays with some sort of error code in the header area, above my content.

The form is not functioning now (brings me to error page - and yes, I have success/failure pages published, they worked fine till today). Any idea what's wrong? I did not make any changes or re-publish the page.

This also happened to another page in the site which had a different version of a form. I deleted the form and created a new one from scratch, now when I publish the page the form simply doesn't display at all - it's invisible. See www.cnocadoiri.com/ceisteanna.html

Any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

It needs to be php extension.

you saved it as .html extension

rig***lick on the page, properties and change it back to php

You're very good to get back to me so fast.

That works, but any idea why I didn't have to have it as php before? Perhaps it did this automatically, but if that were the case, my links to .... teagmhail.html wouldn't have worked - but they did, no problem.

(And now I'll have go to and change the individual links on every single page - there's just no easy way around this!)

Perhaps I could do a permanment re-direct, what do you think?

No .. change the links.. it most likely didnt work correctly and this is just how you have now seen it and noticed it.

Actually it had been working fine - I had tried it myself on a two different computers as well getting messages from ordinary users.

In any case, while I was waiting I set up a re-direct in my control panel from www.cnocadoiri.com/teagmhail.html to my new www.cnocadoiri.com/teagmhail.php page, and that seems to work ok for the moment - I can change the links by degrees.
