Red face forms not working right online

can anyone help? i have made 2 forms on my site. one is for entering email address and name for a mailing list (this is on the music page) and the other form is for sending a message (this is on the contact page.) i have also made the success and error pages, and published them. when i press send however, the error 404 page comes up, saying there is no success page. what am i missing? the site is: michelle-wilde.com thanks!!!

Talking Re: forms not working right online

I'm having a similar problem with the very same thing. My contact page has a message board and after publishing it I get a message that it cannot find the contact.html page. I know it's published as a php so I'm a little confused. I also published a success and error page. I followed the instructions on the tutorial for the error page as well. Did you see them below the video palette. Hope your issue is solved soon since that may solve mine as well.

You kind've answered your own question because you know the page was published as php so the link would end contact.php and not contact.html

I clicked on the send button on your contact page and you have 2 issues

1) You are taking to an error page and the url is this http://www.michelle-wilde.com/www.mi...m/success.html Should be http://www.michelle-wilde.com/success.html

2) Second issue http://www.michelle-wilde.com/success.html goes to an '404' page so this aint working either. I would suggest two things 1) Have you actually published a success page? and 2) have you spelt 'success' correctly when you saved the page in BV. The spelling has to be EXACTLY the same.

Thanks, I would not have thought of that on my own. The contact page was an existing page that I added the contact form to and I didn't think about modifying the page navigation buttons from html to php.

You are half way there

1) You have successfully published a success page. Here is the link http://www.michelle-wilde.com/success.html

2) However the link to this success page is still incorrect as per my earlier explanation. Double click the form area to bring up its properties. Now copy and paste this http://www.michelle-wilde.com/success.html into where it asks for the success url. Republish and test.

OK, something else is occurring, because that is how it is listed in my form properties. i have changed it many times to correct it. However, you are right, the name comes up wrong when my site tries to access the success page.
