    Default Why is there HTML text above my form?

    Hello,

    On both my form pages there is a load of html text at the top for some reason after publishing. The forms also do not work and I get;

    URL not found
    + 404 not found
    error was encountered while trying to use error document to handle the request

    The 2 pages with forms are;

    http://www.thelakecomoweddingplanner.com/apply.html
    http://www.thelakecomoweddingplanner.com/contact.html

    I tried changing the file extension in page properties to php but that didn't help - what haven't I done??

    Set both pages (in View, Page Properties, Extensio) to have the .php extension when published.

    The built in form processor is PHP code so the page must be published as .php

    Also, you will need to change your menus, to point to the .php pages instead of the html ones, and also DELETE from the server the .html pages.

    Please note that you have already published the contact page as .php and it works fine. Here it is:

    I know I am dumb but how do you publish it as a php? I made my page from the form named it contactprogress, then published it but the publish box does not give a choice as to publish it as a php. What am i missing??

    I am having the same problem. I have changed the page properties to .php and published but it wouldn't show up. What advise do you have for me? How do you delete pages from the site? I am new to this!
