Thread: Spam with my forms

What do I need to do so spammers don't send me e-mails through my forms on my website? Thanks in advance!

You must be getting some MailerDaemon (returned email) notices in your Inbox to make you think your Form or account is being used, Matt .... if you look closely, you will note that the preface of the email address is unlike anything you have created and therefore impossible to be processed by your Form, site, account, or VodaHost server; they are "Spoof" email addresses being used to appear as if it came from your Domain, and when the email they distribute is undeliverable, it merely is "returned" back to your root Domain for notification of undeliverabiity.

There is not much one can do to prevent Spoofing, other than to forward a copy of such returned email notices to your anti-virus service for them to forensically investigate the origin via the email header, and make attempts to punish the abuser.
