Thread: Keyword searches aren't bringing up my page

Hi, My webpage is now up and working but when I type in a key word as a search on my web browser my site doesn't come up. Its only a new site does it take a while before the keywords will work within a search ?????

Yes Linda, it could take awhile before the S.E.´s even know your there.

Optimise your site then you can always submit it youself........

Have you requested that your site be submitted to the search engines?

To optimise your site you need to do several things:

1) Make sure that your site is finished...all links are working....spelling mistakes eliminated...etc.

2) Choose a good TITLE and DESCRIPTION for each page that highlight
the contents. To a lesser extent, choose good KEYWORDS.

3) Be selective about your LINKS to and from other sites.

This list could go on but if you have all the above in place then you will be ready to submit your site to the various s.e.´s

Vodahost will submit your site on a 1 time option for free if you open a support ticket to request this service as ***** has mentioned above.

And even after you have it optimized and submitted - don't expect to come up on the first pages of se's for popular terms - unless you really do have it optimized and with better and unique content from all the other sites out there.
