Yes. I have done everything to the letter, can see the file in the correct folder, but when I try to install I keep getting a 500 internal server error.

I have installed several other things without problems. I worked out that the 'contents "users" folder was actually the fmp folder (well with help from Naval, lol). I have no clue why it won't install. Changed my file permissions and everything..?

Cheers Alien!

I must admit I didn't think to check that. You were spot on. Thanks matie - you're a star!

Ps. Check all the folders, in a similar fashion, as there were a couple of others where all the contents hadn't transfered over completely.

No problem Amanda,
i have made it one of those checks to do when moving folders, just to double check that every thing goes over. Now if could apply that to other things i've done recently i would be ok.

Hi Alien, yes I had to transfer all the files over 1 at a time as ftp kept dropping out, took me ages.
Checked that all files were there, but when I try to run install.php comes up with:
(none) 80.25.14.55 /fmp/install.php www.mvpalma1.com
but I can see the install.php using ftp and file manager.

Hi David.
i know this sounds like a stupid question but did you set the premissions to 777 on the folder on the right side of fpt manager. i've just try yours and it's not letting you in to the folder with address fmp/install.php
