Are there any collectors, or jigsaw puzzle fanatics that have ever come across a jigsaw puzzle of John Wayne ... if so, please let me know, I would love to get one for my mom.

I have some dvd's with old John Wayne films on them. These are brand new and shrink wrapped. You are welcome to have them for nothing, I will pay the shipping, it is not a problem, email me if you want them and I will send straight out for you. I have no need for them so it would be a pleasure to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them.

On a second look Holly here is the description for the item.

This very colorful, fascinatingly-detailed 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle features 38 famous people and places and historical points of interest throughout the United States including, of course, the Birthplace of John Wayne. 24" x 30" when assembled.

So it may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there are 100s of John Wayne itmes on there. I have looked everywhere else including ebay and there does not seem to be anything that would meet what you want...strange really.

I've been to that store! And I've been to the house he was born in - neat house. It was a Sears Roebuck house - did you all know that people used to buy houses from the Sears catalog?

Wow you guys & gals ... this is like Christmas ... You all have done Excellent ... Her Christmas, Easter, Birthday, Mother's Day and just anytime presents are going to be plenty special ...

Cindy, the puzzle is perfect, she does already have the lifesize standee!! Excellent find ...

Liz, paperdolls, awesome ... she loves "paper dolls" complete with 32 costumes, she will be dressing and undressing him night and day ...

One of my dads favorite sayings is "In the right light, I look a bit like John Wayne Nibs" ... that is his nic name for her ... and of course she loves "John Wayne".

Canada is so empty of these treasures ..... these are wonderful ...

Karel - that is awfully "special" of you to do that ... she will love those .. I appreciate it so much and thank you for the link to the goodie store ...

Here's what I am ordering folks ...

The John Wayne Fuzzy Blanket, how awesome will that be, the coffee mug, the christmas ornament, the talking ornament, the paper dolls, the puzzle, the salt & pepper shakers, and I am considering the train set, but that one is a little pricey, not certain ...

Cindy, yes, I could only imagine that you too would like that boat house, and now I read you are going to be on one in a few weeks .... get a job will you ... all these trips you are going on ... huh, and don't be dare telling me they are all "business" trips ... "monkey business" mayeb ... lol

My mom will love all of this, in fact I almost told her today, and CL said "NO" so I am quite surprised at myself, I know I will let it all out of the bag, I can't keep a present a secret. If I shop for Christmas in November, they are November presents. It kills me worse not telling them than them wanting to know .... I am baaaaaaaaaaddd ...

I did tell her about the Videos coming Karel, how fast service is that now, that's faster than Ebay ... thanks so much again, and I'll let you know when I have received them ...

Oh yes, Holly my dear....all Business! Tax write off you know!! Actually Lake Powell is a personal trip, but I will make it ALL business! My father-in-law loves Lake Powell and has been there with his family more than he can remember. He has been battling Luekemia now for about 7 years and unfortunately it is wearing him down. So we all decided as a family we would do one last trip with him. (But while on the trip, I plan on showing my travel business to all the brothers and sisters! I've already planned a travel party on board and I'm taking my laptop with me complete with a grass skirt and hula music! lol

omg...me too....I can't keep secrets very well..never have been able to. I just get to excited and want to tell all NOW! Maybe we should invent a mouth zipper for us! Put that on your list of things to do! ha ha

Holly, I don't remember if I took pictures of his birth house, but probably did. I'll look to see if I can find any of them - but they might have been before I kept everything on cd's. If they are real pics they're in a box somewhere probably never to be seen again :)

Wow Beth, my mom could only think about being so fortunate as to do that, she is not a big traveller, we managed just once to get her on an airplane and well she won't go again, lol ... so unless she is driven she will never get there. Photos would be nice if you happen to find them Beth, any time would be great.

I at sometime must dig out my visit to Graceland photos. I enjoyed that, it was the evening before his 25th, but enjoyed it just the same.

Cindy, I had thought of that, but didn't know where to look, great link, and my brother told my mom yesterday that he said he knew someone who did this, so this will be in the works.

Holly you know I was thinking the other day....The dvds, were they o.k to play on American players?...Oh I never thought of that, I do hope so.
