There are many causes why this could happen. Short of tracking them down. Try emptying cache. If that fails.... Re-install BV 8. Andy

No worries- sometimes in the un-install process it takes somethings with it that other programs use. Glad all is well. Andy

When FF was installed a lot of programs on your PC assumed that it would be the default browser. when you deleted FF the programs kept looking for it. If this happens again you can also click (in the BV menu) Tools > Options > Preview and then check "use default browser" Andy is right re-installing will fix it every time.
