    Default Strange file being published

    Hola VHF!
    I noticed today when I published a change to my EnviroCurricula site that there was a file published entitled jscookmenu.js. It showed up for just a second and then it went on to publish the photos, etc. I do not have anything named jscook in my files and cannot for the life of me, figure out what that means. I went to my ftp and it does not show up in my root directory or in my public_html.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi.. It appears that you have a file uploaded to the server 'jscookmenu'. It also appears that there is a script that calls that file when your page is uploaded. Here's the sript that appears in your page:

    <SCRIPT type="text/javascript" src="./jscookmenu.js"></SCRIPT>

    If this script is not supposed to be there:

    1. Open your BV page, right click and click the 'HTML' Tab..
    2. Select the 'Between Head Tag' Tab.. Locate the above script and delete it.
    3. Open your Public HTML folder on the server, locate the 'jscookmenu' file and delete it.

    This should fix it.

    Charles-

    I downloaded the file and opened it with notepad. This is what it is and where it comes from;

    Take a look- maybe you downloaded it with the intent of using it- or it may be part of another file that you downloaded as suggested above.

    This is the Javafile that makes the sliding menubars work, please do not alter it or your menus will not work.

    i pasted this code
    <link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="ROR" href="ror.xml" />
    in the between head tag for the ror that Naval provided. When I asked him about the code above, he did not know what it was for, but I was directed on

    Okay, I see now went to the URL and see what it is all about. Obviamente, you guys are really knowledgeable about this stuff...
    Thank you for your clarification.

    Now one last question. How can you see my site that way? I didn&#180;t find the file when I went and looked for it.

    Well, yes... where we live, the jungle has really recovered and the life is back, but overall it was really tough. I must say though the response from the government was impressive, we were without power for less than a week.
    However, it is once again hurricane season and many of us are let us say, nervous.

    Do you sell decaf green tea and how about the cup and straw for yerba mate&#191;
