Adding a counter to web site

I have recently built a website and hosted the same on server using Vodahost. The online tutorials were a great help.

I have a problem.

I wish to add a counter on my home page (index.html) to know how many hits my site has received.

I did not find any help on the on-line tutorials about adding a counter. Can someone please let me know how to it?

I use the webcounter at shinystat.com

It is the same one displayed on my website. You can get it in many layouts/colors.

Thanks a lot Sarah for the useful tip.

I must admit that I was able to build a simple website with all the help you provided. I went through all tutorials on the BlueVoda web site. But your advice was more useful in getting the website up and running.

I am adding some new features and hope that your expert guidance will be always available whenever needed.

Hi there,
I am still having problems setting up a counter on my site.
How and where do i put the code on my page .I still do not have a clue of how to do so,please help me.
I promise,once you help me put that counter in i will not bother yall again.

Hi,

To insert the code with BlueVoda use the html button located at
the top of the lefthand toolbar. Drag open a box, double click and
insert the html code!
