Thread: My navigation bar only half works?

Hi,

I made a website (www.orchardbarn.org) but

1-the navigation bar will only link to the index page or the contact page. the other links just bring up a "page can't be found" page. I did the same publish routine for all the other links so i'm not sure why they won't work?

2-my index page had some large images on it which took a while to upload so I reduced the image quality and size and then re-published the index page. I don't know whether it has replaced the larger one- how can i check?

Any ideas?

The file sizes of the images on the idex page are very large compared to the actual viewed size.

Oh so they're still massive;
It was just something I forgot to reduce; I tried publishing the smaller version but it doesn't seem that has worked- if you publish the same page twice will the 2nd one replace the first?

After a while searching i found that i'd saved the pages with a capital letter at the beggining- any other newbies with navigation probs- i'd say its best to stear clear of capitals when saving.

Still not sure on the replacment of a page when re-publishing; anyone?

if you publish it using the same name it replaces the old page, but sometimes takes a couple tries to show up in your browser - that capitol letter thing is a bummer isn't it! also common mistake is putting / instead of . easy to do and fro some reason hard to see
