I created a site for myself and with Vodahost help (thank you) it all went of OK. I now have made a small website for my sons taxi company www.cttaxisbristoluk.com and used the same Voda programme I used for mine. When I saved it I called it indexct and now I`ve published it comes up "page not found". Also the link I sent my son has my web address conected to it and I/we don`t want that. I`ve looked at posts and found nothing similar so sorry to trouble. It seems that when I put in the URL....http://www.cttaxisbristoluk.com/index%20ct.html The page seems to load. I/we don`t want this.I/we would just like the bare web address.....www.cttaxisbristoluk.com PLEASE PLEASE help? Regards, Martyn |

Reading your post, it comes across to me that you have 2 different DOMAIN names...is that correct? If so then you need an index page for each different site. I have looked at www.cttaxisbristoluk.com and none of your other sites pages are there so you can do as I suggested in my first post as long as you publish to www.cttaxisbristoluk.com

No problem..... You can create 2 different sites using bluevoda as long as you remember to publish to the correct Folder/dir/site and each site will need its own index page.......

you have already published the taxi page(I can see it) so just rename that page to index and then publish to the same place as before............. This is what you have already published Parent Directory 03-Aug-2006 11:31 - Madness-DrivinginmyC..> 07-Aug-2006 07:23 4.2M United_Kingdom.gif 07-Aug-2006 07:42 62k bus.jpg 07-Aug-2006 07:42 3k bv01007.gif 07-Aug-2006 07:42 3k cgi-bin/ 03-Aug-2006 11:23 - index ct.html 07-Aug-2006 07:42 4k jag 6.jpg

If your files are all in the same folder you will mess one or the other site up. see David's reply: "No problem..... You can create 2 different sites using bluevoda as long as you remember to publish to the correct Folder/dir/site and each site will need its own index page......." If this is the case create a new folder for your son's files and content, then rename to index and publish.

Thanks David and Bill. I`ve managed to do it by changing my index file then saving my sons as index". I`ve one more problem for you if you have time. I`ve checked the tutorial and it doesn`t help me put music on his site. I thought I new and have used the FTP manager but I haven`t managed to lay it on. Can someone help please or put me in touch with the correct tutorial. God bless you all, Martyn |

Your music file is on your site, you now need to provide a link to that file. See andy128 (keith) for more info(link is below)
