Hi guys, I have a big probleme, you not gonna believe what's happening to me because until I don't have explaination, I don't believe it too. Anyway, in a post about the big rip of google tool bar, I realized That I have to remove google stuff from my computer, after doing that I deleted all files related to google from cookies etc etc. Now, I tried to open yahoo to do some research but that white page came telling about connection probleme, ooooookkkkkkk, try to open microsoft.com, same thing, tried google.com, same thing, so I realized that the probleme is not external. Well you gonna tell me how did I end up writing this now here, hehehe, that's one of the questions I will ask later. So, in that time having probleme to connect to yahoo etc, I was still in the VH forum, I changed some pages here and it's working, I search between my million and one CD I have all around the room looking for something containing internet explorer, but I just found the old explorer 5, I didn't want to install it afraid from something may go wrong and then I lose all communication with the outside world. Anyway, how I'm connecting to the forum, that's one question that only BV Heads can answer, I just click in the link which is in BV, but how and why I can't connect to the big companies? I still can open the web sites of our friends here as well. So, if anyone can tell me what to do or can download internet explorer 6 or 7 and create a page giving me a chance to download it from him, that will be a great favor. Thank you guys

What OS are you running......keep your connection open, try "repairing" Outlook in Office.....(which will restore your DLL's)...and Never - I repeat: NEVER delete anything you specifically do not know how to identify or can replace if needed (unless it's SPAM or email ****) You might want to go into your trash to see if you can still restore the stuff you deleted.....then go line by line to identify what it is you need to delete with the surety you need to do it! |

Alternatively If you are using Windows XP... Click.... Start / Programs / Accessories / System Tools .... Then choose System Restore and return your system to yesterdays setup (or whenever the last system restore was logged). Then everything will be fine. I wouldn't worry too much about Google. There isn't anything we can do and as you are finding it will often cause more problems if you do try to do something about it. :) |

SYS Restore MIGHT work, but he deleted elements, not settings..... I think it's best to start restoring from Trash first.... (And I'll always take the hit for my men, NP! ALWAYS!....ex Ranger!) |

NP... I recommend unplugging your computer, opening the nearest window and throwing it onto the street below ;) Just kidding. Did you try Vasili's idea? Restore the relevant files from Trash? |

Well I clicked on a link of firefox that our friends gave us upstarres, I mean above ;) Download firfox, install it, and because I had IE 7 beta, when you delete that, you explorer old version comes back. I opened fire fox and it has by default google search engine in it, I made as a research IE 7, but the link of microsoft there didn't want to open, so I opened a link of another company and download it from there, install it, after several minutes, still didn't want to work, as i mentioned in few threads that I have that feeling inside me telling me what's going on in my machine, I don't know, but that I can say 7th sense, because we know the 6th works with something else. So I tried to open it again before getting my coffee, and it does work. Sorry but nothing really special in it. Do what I did, and let me know please, I just want to know if it's the same deal or not. firfox, remove explorer if 7beta, install firefox, and do some reasearch of 7 beta, install, and wait.

I use FF now and have deleted IE7 and tried to download IE& again but during install I get that it is not a sys32 file and it stops. Should I have deleted all that say MSN I do not know what some of them are. I know most have to do with browser. Sorry am no techie so my research and help is rudimentary at best.

mhhhhhh, interesting, when you installed windows in your computer, it gives you two choices, NTSC system or FAT32, can you know which system did you use in the begining? if not go to my computer and click once in C:\ and look in the bottom left of the window, it's gonna give you: Local Disk (C:) Local disk File system: FAT32 or NTSC so can you tell me which one?

Man, I have bad news, I don't know if it's affecting you or not, but after the whole process deleting google tool bar and this installements, I guess I got a virus or a spyware somehow, I found that one of my drive which was called G:\ is renamed now to J:\ I don't know if it's a restore which did that or something else, I'm doing some virus scans now, and I will see what's going on. Try to do so as well if you have an anti virus, do a scan and let me know. don't worry you didn't get it from the file you download it, because if it's so, I wouldn't have the ability to upload it to the server

This is interesting, it seems that both of you have the same problem and the only two common denominators are BV and IE7. Since, there a lot of us NOT having similar problems with BV and IE6/FF, it appears that the IE7 bugs have bitten.
