Hiya Beezie.. Looking good as always darlin.. But then again you always use the same picture..lol.
I am not an expert on this, but I have a friend who uses a Screen Caputre program that basically takes a snap shop of the screen at any time and turn it inot a JPEG.. I believe you can find screen capture software if you Google it.. Some are free and some are free trials.
Hey thanks on ALL accounts Carlos...a girl can never hear too many compliments...notice my new signature....lol

Beezz-
In the uper right of the key board you should see a key on the top row that says "Print Screen -SysRg"
Hit that button.
Now open MS Paint. Click on edit and then click on paste. Your picture will appear and you can crop it, color it, circle areas, add text to your little hearts content!!
Cheers,
Andy

Any time my friends. Have fun. Paint is a pretty cool program. I have downloaded the new paint.net which looks really good but have not had time to experiment with it.

I always use this method...
Hold down the CTRL key then press Print Screen as Andy said.
when you go into Windows Paint hold down the CTRL key again and press the letter V to paste the screenshot onto the page.
In windows paint, when you save the file.... right underneath where you type the file name, change from .BMP format (mega huge and stupid file size) to .JPG (nice and sensible and useable file size).
:)
Also.. I think SHIFT + Print Screen copies the Window that is open, not the entire screen, not sure, never tried it lol
Wow.. Love the sig..Originally Posted by beegud2

Wow, so many tips. I agree with the compliments SGQUB. But this acronym is unpronouncable.
It's Alt+PrtScn for the active window, and Ctrl+PrtScn for the whole monitor screen. Then just a normal Edit/Paste in Paint.
Zigzag...ok...yes difficult to pronounce ...so I've changed sig. back to old one but still keeping my lauded (lamented by others) status.

Forgot to mention in the print screen thingy. (Such a numpty - love that word, Ballybumba). Some keyboards, have an F Lock button. This must be off.
Now to the important things. SGQUB - You'll have to find a bee with a silent "B", then you could be SQUEEZ.
Or, Beez are kind normal earthly entomology subjects. This could be BeezKnees. Sorry, a bad one, lol.
Your picture does brighten up the forum a lot. I don't publish my pic, because everyone would speed up their screensaver activation time.
My cat (name is zigzag) makes a much better subject.
Regards,
HAHA Hyes, thats it, I knew it was something like that LOL. CTRL+PRINTSCREEN does the job for me.Originally Posted by zigzag
