Thread: About FTP - Questions

Hi everyone,

I would like to use Blue FTP to let a friend of mine upload some files from his computer.

let say I want to create ftp://mydomain.com/ftpfolder/file.ext

1 - is it how it should be?
2 - in the tutorial, it shows that we have to upload the file to public_html but I saw that I have a folder name's public_ftp, what is that for?
3 - so now should I upload the files to public_html or public_ftp?

I think everything still goes in public_html...but (sigh) I'm not the best at this tech stuff...lol. Hang on ...I knwo some of the Gens. are a round and will come to your aid soon.

(But I am curious about what the public_ftp thingy is for...EDUCATE me oh VODA MASTERS -- no no not YODA...I already failed the force ...lol)

yeah that why, public_ftp wasn't there when we just join the land, while updating our data, it was added

It's a conspiracy I tell ya...they're trying to see if we really are paying attention ...(hmmm...obviously I wasn't ...lol)...
