Thread: banner rotation

I clicked on the banner rotation and chose 3 pictures but nothing happened. What is the trick?

On my website, www.hawaiionyourown.com, I thought I would have the pictures rotate rather than sit in frames. I just don't know how to make the banner rotator to work.

Sorry, could not find any banner rotator in the above URL. However, banner rotator means that the pics in it will alternate at the desired time interwall, not that they will actually rotate.

How do you make it do that?

How do you do what ? Rotate (alternate) pics , by using the banner rotator. Actually rotate a 3D shape, by using fLASH

I am using BV banner rotate on my front page, top left corner.
It is working ok. I had to go to 'properties' and choose 'add'
to get a pic into it, then 'add' again for the next pic, etc and
so on. It is more of a slide show, I don't see any rotate effect
listed.

The banner rotator is for rotating banners/ads. IE: links to other sites/affiliates or pages on your site. You can add a link to each banner/image. Using it as a way to show images/photos is just another bonus to way that it can be used, but will only rotate as slow as 1 second per image.

My brain must be mush! I selected all the images using the banner icon. When I click on the banner rotator, all I get is information about menu selections. I downloaded flash but it didn't seem to make a difference. I still don't understand how to make the pictures slide from one to another.

Place the banner rotator in your page. The dialog box opens, so browse your computer content and select the first picture. Now the first image appears. Double click it, then click ADD and select the second image, and so on. In the BV page, only the first image appears, the others will appear as soon as you preview or publish the page.

Are you 'previewing' or 'publishing' your page??
The pictures will not be viewable until you preview or
view your page online.
