I have put a few mp3s on my site that are fairly large files. My question is: Each time I add or replace a file with a remix or whatever, does the new song/mix just add on the the server space, or is it replaced with the new file. Just concerned about conserving space. And this is a concern, how do I delete the old mp3s and replace them. BTW, these are my recordings of songs and I'm not selling CDs, so there should be no legal issues. Thanks. |

You can delete files from file manager in cpanel, or using blue ftp.

or, if you name the new mp3's to have exactly the same name as the old ones they will directly overwirte the previous files. if the 'overwrite' option is selected (i am of course assuming that there is an overwrite option). dont use copyright material on your website, very very bad :) |
