Thread: Size problem continued

This is following on from 'Andy128's problem of page size:

I have done the same and made all my page contents too big (1024x76.

I am about to reduce them down to 800x600, however, rather than create everything on my pages to that resolution, isn't it just the backgrounds which need to be created smaller- other objects can be scaled down manually in BV can't they?

Its not the background that determines the size- it is the placement of the content on the page. Therefore, all the content on the page needs to be within the confines of the 800 width and the background will follow.

Additionally- the width is the only real concern. People don't mind scrolling up or down a page. So your length could be 5,000 pixels long or greater if you like. Don't worry about setting the length to 600.
