Thread: Printing website?

Hi all,

When i go to print preview my page is over to the right so when i go to print it takes a good inch of the page?

My web page is lined up evenly in the browser preview.

How do you get the web page to line up so when you go to print preview the web page lines up correctly to print.

I hope that makes 2 + 2 is 4 Thank you, sordfish.

A web page is not meant to be printed, it is meant to be displayed
on the internet, thats why many websites have a link that says...

Click Here for a printer friendly version. (PPFV)

You have to create printer friendly pages...

1) Margins
2) White back ground, black text
3) Little or no graphics...
4) etc...

When you have created your PPFV, test it out a few times to make
sure it lloks exactly like you want it to, you will probably have to tweak
it a bit.

I did go into page setup adjusted the page size and hay presto it lined up....but like you said it prints all pics etc....so to go one better..and do what you recomend do i just make another page copy and paste the text on to a basic page and link it from the PPpage thing placed on the web page....yeah!! no?

Remember to size small - no wider than 650 pixels.
