Thread: how to substitute domain name

Hello,

My current domain is www.ir-translations.com
But I have come to the conclusion it is not exactly what I want (too frequent) and now I have bought a new domain (www.idemidem.net). But I seem to have problems setting it up, in particular I have no idea how to set up the DNS.
I have read the instruction about how to set up a subdomain. But I don't want idemidem to be a subdomain. I do not really need it, but I could set ir-translations as subdomain and keep it running for one year, but that is not really important.

Submit a support ticket requesting that the new domain be made your primary domain. But realize that if this is done, it will erase anything you've published on your account to this point.

Alternatively, you can use the Addon Domain tool in your Cpanel to add the new domain. It will be a stand alone domain rather than a sub domain.
