Can't access ftp from my computer?

It seems that I can access ftp.mysitename.com from almost any computer except my own. Is there any reason that it would keep saying "530 This is a private system. No anonymous login"

But I logged in from a random computer in my school's art building. What's up??

Check your server number, username and password very carefully as most times a small mistake has been made.

If you still have problems, check your welcome email again and then put in a support ticket.

It's not that a mistake has been made... it won't even let me try to put in my username/password/server to *make* the mistake!

It just gives me that same pop-up denying access. Does anyone know why this might be?? I'm hesitant to put in a customer support ticket because of the extremely slow / uninformative response I got last time...

If you are using the bluevoda ftp program then you would not get any message until you have completed the dropdown box which appears after you have clicked on connect....................

please give us a little more info !!!
