Thread: Published pages does not renew

Hi all,

I just made changes to all my webpages.

However 2 of the pages does not get updated after several publishing over two days. The other 18 pages all got refreshed.

Can I have some steps on how to troubleshoot this problem?
Can I use the ftp manager to look for where is the problem?

Make sure to clean out the temp internet files on your computer. DO this and then see if the pages display the changes you made.

Can you provide the url to the pages that aren't changing?

Never mind that - can you tell us what is on the new pages that is not on the old, so we can find out if we're seeing the old or new?

And can you double check that you are publishing them with the exact same name - you didn't somehow rename either of these pages?

Follow Andy's advice again, also clean history and while you're at it cookies. Then open the page you are working on and hit F5 refresh several times.

These are the url that are not refreshed.

I have added new pictures and new bakground colors as well.
Had also tried clearing the cookies and Temp internet file and refresh but it does not work.

On the ftp the last modified date is updated but on the web it does not refresh. Funny.

Is there anyway I can find the html file in the ftp site so that I can manually delete it? Can seem to find all the html files.

login into your control panel and do it through your file manager, click the below...

i ran across that problem so i did it simple i made a template of my main page minus a few things like the banners on bottom, then lets say page 2 is not doing what it is supposed to do , i get the template transfer what i have on it to template then after that i go to bluevoda folder remove page 2 from inside that folder, then i save template as page 2 then send it to server, once done i check site out and click on the link that shows page 2 to see how it looks and wahla everything has been set right. well it is simple to me that way. but everyone has there own shortcuts.

When you go to the pages that are not the latest version. Hit CTRL + F5 and a fresh copy will be fetched.
If there is still a problem, then more than likely there is a typo problem. Check for Upper/Lower case (The servers run Linux) in your links, or spaces.

Hi all,

I am finally able to get it sorted out by deleting the file through the file manager in the control panel. Then I have to republish the page again under the same name.

It is not a typo error and hitting the refressh button 20 times does not help.

I cant explain why this is so.
