Thread: Cleaning up my FTP mess

David A. has been helping us with a form, but he found that I (mea culpa)
have been saving and publishing some/all the pages I have made and our ftp files are overloaded.
do not know how to go about doing this... may I just delete all and then save and publish the current pages? if I can do that simple thing, do I delete both sides of the FTP?

Charles:

If you have all your bvp copies on your computer then you can delete most
(NOT all) of the files on the right hand side of your ftp screen.

The left hand side are files on your computer and should be treated with care.

You can republish all your copies again to your website after you have cleaned up your public_html directory.

Be careful that you do not delete any other folders that you may have.
Go into each folder and delete what you dont need.

BE very careful when you are cleaning out your files..................

The worst? You could delete your website files and start from scratch again.
