Thread: Backgrounds...just don't get it

Ok, maybe I'm missing something, but I'm not getting this. When I'm using the templates on here, they are repeating across the page. I haven't finsihed a page at all cause I can't stand the look of it. If I put it on 0 or 1 loop, it also repeats all the way down the page. This is tacky looking and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong to work on fixing it. Can someone help me?

Mr. Burns preparing something for free?? Hmm.... maybe you have a soft side after all?

I understand that and have watched the tutorials. It didn't really answer my question. The tempate is repeating across the page (I'm seeing a full one and then a half of it again) as well as looping all the way down the page (even though I have it marked to not loop).


Maybe I'll have to try a screen shot to see if that helps with answering.

Background images always repeat (tile) if they're not big enough to fill the complete screen. This is standard HTML behaviour, there nothing you can do about that.
Just insert the background as a normal picture (as shown in the tutorials) and put all your other objects on top of it.
