Thread: help desperately needed

The three thing you should do first probably, is set a background color,
add some text and add a picture, then save your work.

To set the background of the white page, just right click anywhere on the
page and select 'background'. There you'll be able to select a color.
Important: If you select a black background you won't see the text because it is black too.
You may want to do the text first if you need to change the color of it.

To add some text to the page, select the 'text' tool at the top.
It is a box with an 'A' on it. Double click the text that shows up and
just backspace over that and type in what ever you like to put. If
you 'highlight' the line by holding down your mouse button and rolling over
it, you can then select a color from the top of the screen and a font
if you desire to change it.

To add a picture to your page, select the picture tool at the top.
It is a box with a little mountain on it just to the right of the
text box. A window opens up and you can use the drop down arrow
to select a picture on your computer. You just have to brouse for
my pictures or where ever you have it located. select it and open it.

Then save your page. 'file, save as, and give it a name index'
index is always the 'home' page or the first page of your site.
The other pages you build and save can be any name you choose.
You access other pages by 'linking' to them.

Hey General. I have to agree with him. The tutorials run by very fast
Which is great for some, but I find myself re-playing them several
times to get a good mental picture. My thoughts were from the
start that they were running too fast for beginners! Just wanted
to add that comment!

There is a pause button on every tutorial, that lets you pause it and also you can move the tutorial backwards via the slide bar (if you want to see something again) Also watching the 3 minute tutorial twice will not kill you, it might bore you, but the long term effects are on the positive side.
