Default Using OLE for audio files

This is probably a question that everyone has answered at least a dozen times...but once more, please? I am new and building my first site on Voda. I will move from another site over here if I can get some things accomplished. I want to build a site on which I am able to tell interesting little stories and provide audio books that will be downloadable. I am currently running the stories with JavaScript using MP3 files. But the process is strange to me (Another guy set it up for me originally, and I can't add new files). I have tried Voda's OLE system calling for .wav files, and it works very well. But in order to use much smaller MP3 files is there a way to use OLE for MP3 files, too? Is there a conversion or an additional button I haven't found yet? OR is there a tutorial for setting up JavaScript to start the folder of files?
    Thanks for your help!!!

    Bill-
I have never used OLE. What benefit is there to using OLE over simply using he windows media player or linking directly to the mp3 file?

    Andy
    PHP- is a blast!
