Hey there, I am trying to figure out how to offer a coupon or redemption code thru paypal. I have been searching paypal and still can't figure it out. I have a business account with them. Does anyone have any experience with how to set this up in paypal? I would like to allow the customer to enter a code or such to receive $10 off. Thanks, dee         |

Does paypal offer that? I'd search their database. They may not.

PayPal allows you to do a partial refund, you would have to track who purchases with a coupon after you have billed them for the total.

Hi Sparrow I noticed you have your shipping charges as an "add to cart" item. I am wondering how you find that is working, are people adding it to the cart or are they maybe bypassing that and your checkout is not adding it up. I do believe with paypal, you can have the shipping charges reflect a certain percentage of sales, i.e., $7.00 shipping for purchase of $10.00 - $15.00, $12.00 shipping for $15.01 - $25.00 etc., etc., (you are able to choose the amounts). You can also manually override this shipping amount which you may be able to use for your discount you are looking to offer. I don't recall ever seeing any coupon discount that you are looking for, but was thinking if you had your shipping automatically added to the items, you could offer "shipping free" as your discount. Just a few thoughts that maybe you might want to consider.

Hi Sparrow, I've spent alot of time trying to find a coupon code html or anything similar that can be included in my paypal merchant account. There is nothing yet. I will keep trying and let the BV community & you know if & when I find an answer. Good Luck Bill |
