Visitors Leaving Comments

I was wondering how I can allow my visitors to post a comment (that is not connected to my phpbb baords or post nuke) on the bottom of that page.

If there a .php action I need to look for?

Well yeah, but that isn't connected to the page. Is there a way I could use elements of the guestbook at the bottom of one of my html pages?

You could use what is called a "Shout Box" .... you can put this on the bottom of your page ..... (I am not a fan of them, just my opinion, but this would work for you)

This is a good example of what I am trying to accomplish. Scroll down to the bottom and there is a comment section.

My thoughts exactly, I'll bet if Naval or David come along and sees your post they would come up with something, it looks like their type of work and knowledge. Hope you get it sorted.

Again, that works too. But I have to create a new page for each specific topic I would like comments on. And the design is completly different from my websites layout. It just looks confusing when they go from my abstract design to Word Press' formal, uniform design.

If there was a way to use the .php scripts from word press at the bottom of my own pages that would be great. I just have no idea how to do it.

Thanks for the suggestions though, I think this thing is closer to getting accomplished.

The example you gave is wordpress, you can customize wordpress any way you like...Anything is possible...We can not teach you how to customize .php scripts in this forum, people take classes for upto a year to learn how to do this.....Your best and fastest option is to....

a) Use a ready made template.
b) Hire a proffesional .php guy to design it for you.
