Making Downloads available after customer paid

Hi, I want to sell ebooks, this means that after a customer has paid at paypal or clickbank I need to send them to a secure page where they can download the books, This page must be hidden from other users who have not purchased the books. How do I do that?

PayPal and Click bank both offer your a successful payment redirect service, this means that your purchasers will be redirected to a thank you page after they complete there payment, this thank you page is where you can have your download links.

Thanks for reply, but what I want to know is how to make "The Thank page" invisible to other visitors to the site. Also to make it secure so not just any visitor to the site can access it.

If you do not reference or display the link to your thank you page then no one will see it.
The submit or payment form should be a php file and can only be accesed on
the return from paypal or whatever.........
