Thread: 404 error when publishing pages !!please help soon

Hi!

I have successfully published some pages (charitywalk1, to 9) but it does not show on the site. All it says is Error 404- why is tht? Those files are in public html folder.

A variety of reason can be to blame
1) You named your page wrong (Most likely)
2) You are searching for it wrong
3) you published it in the wrong folder

I also get the 404 error when I published my pages (except my index page looks fine). I've ensured that all links were accurate, and the 404 error even takes me to the correct address. However, I just can't get any of my other pages to show. Can anyone help me?

You created your hyperlinks wrong in your menu bars.
The below is NOT a proper hyperlink.

http://www.aalrrhome.com/www.aalrrhome.com

If you want to go the your products page. You hyperlink should
look like the below.

http://www.aalrrhome.com/products.html

I was having the same problem - my pages were published without difficulty, but the links would not work. I realized that I named the pages with a capital letter, but used a lowercase letter in the link.
