having published some of my website (still ongoing!) and working on my laptop my site appears on 3/4 of my screen and can read everthing without scrolling left to right.
however when i've had alook with other peoples computer screens they have to scroll left to right which is very annoying!
    1.what is causing this?
2.Is there anything i can do to irradicate this without having to repulish all my pages?

where does the _blank go in the link to open in a new window?

if you visit my site can you see the full layout?

Nope, I have to scroll...but very little.

On my screen I am missing the < component of the letter K. Otherwise all's okay. Looking good!

thankyou Norbert for taking the trouble to help me.

Can anyone tell me why this appears different in pcs. is it something to do with the personal settings for internet? and how can we know how big to make our sites? scrolling up and down is ok but sideways aswell is annoying - plus when adding a product to my checkout you can't see all the figures. although i can see everything fine on my laptop!

Make your website width as small as possible. People have different settings, resolutions, and browsers so it is impossible to make your website look perfect on everyone's computer.

BlueVoda is a WYSIWYG (What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get) Web Builder.
This means that every HTML object will have the same size and position in every browser. This also means that if the screen resolution of the viewers PC is different than the computer you've designed your page on, it will look different: it's the same page (in pixel size) viewed on a smaller or larger screen.

Here are a few tips for the best results:
    - Set the Page properties to 800x600
    - Enable the Guide Borders and set them to the same size.
    - Make sure all page contents stays between the guide borders
    - Enable 'Center to browser'
