Thread: cgi bins

I am looking for some cgi bins. support says they are in public_html/cgi-bin/. How do I get there? I looked in cpanel and they aren't there. I looked in the ftp and they are there. Can someone help me please?

If you are in cp - the cgi-bin resides in your index manager.

I recently added a few files to the cgi-bin

These files are for a chat program I intend on using on what is called The Gateway located at http://martech-inc.biz/Gateway.html

What I want to know is since these files are indeed listed in the cgi-bin, what would the URL be for the chat program?

What I want to do is open the script at the following:
http://yourserver/path/chat.cgi

Now would I type in http://martech-inc.biz/ if so what would the actual path be? If this is located in the cgi-bin?

Would the program be at http://martech-inc.biz/"chat"/chat.cgi ?

Or how would I be able to open it to see what the chat would look like?
