I just finished today registering my domain and I want to publish my web site now. I don't know my IP address, login ID and password is correct. how do I get this.

I did receive an e-mail back from voda with a login ID and password for my account. is that what I should enter in, if so, what about the IP address, where do I get that, or do I have to wait to receive another e-mail from Voda?

Wait for the Welcome Email, which will give you all these details and more.

Anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, but they're usually pretty quick with this.

All welcome emails from the weekend have gone out. If you have not received yours please check your bulkmail or spam folders, sometimes email gets diverted. If you still can not find it, please submit a support ticket and we will issue you a new one.

I got my welcome letter, please tell what to do next to publish my web site. I'm having a bit of trouble. I entered username and password. I know I'm doing something wrong. Or Ididn't do something before?

In BV, click publish. In the box that pops up, enter your username and password, and then use the dropdown menu to select the IP Address specified in the welcome email. If you don't see that IP, download and install BV once again and you'll have the updated list.

Nope, they're safe and sound, stored in a different folder than the BV installation.

Ok, great. So I done what you said and it worked. The file were still there. They got published, what next? I wen to the web and tried to open my site and sawindex with a bunch of files

I went back and saved my page as index, and that worked. Now I have another problem.

My next pages from the menu bars will not come up after I publised them too. What am I doing wrong.

Can't say for sure. First, try republishing them all. If that fails, then you need to check the links and the pages they link to in order to make sure everything is exactly the same.

There's nothing any of us can do without sitting at your pc, that's why I suggested you send me your Cpanel login info. You're making a minor mistake somewhere, but it's difficult to diagnose when we can't see what's going on.

Can I erase all my published files except my index. I thinking that the first one I published is the cause because it wasn't titled "Index" and now I have alot of junk which should be deleted?

Your problem is caused by the fact that you used caps when saving your pages, but didn't use them when you created your links. For instance, http://www.goldenhandscleaningservice.com/aboutus.html goes nowhere, but http://www.goldenhandscleaningservice.com/AboutUs.html opens the page.

Page names and link names must match exactly, which is one reason why it's always best to save your page in lower caps only, and use underscores between words (about_us.html) when saving your pages. Eliminates guesswork.

You can, but it would be best to just rename the problem ones, based on my last post, and republish.

Save that field goal for the Colts on Sunday, they might need it. lol
