    Default TextArea and forms

I've gone over the tutorials numerous times, but still have a question with regards to forms.

    1. I would like to have a comments box, where the user enters some comments, presses SUBMIT and the user's input gets sent to me. Does the textarea and SUBMIT button have to be atop the FORM box (with the gridlines)?

    2. Currently, after the user presses submit, it is my understanding that an email is sent out, with Outlook or whatever email software the user's using, popping up and opening. Is there anyway that after the user fills out the comments, there is no email sent, just the text of the form, and a new page opens saying "thanks for the comments, we will get back to you soon" or something similar.

    Thanks for the help,
    Miron
